Welcome to Symbiota ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how Force Dijital collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use the Symbiota mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").
By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the Service.
We collect information you provide directly, including: account registration data (email, name), health-related data you voluntarily enter (food logs, symptom records, stress levels), app usage preferences, and communication data when you contact support.
Health data you enter into Symbiota (food diaries, symptom logs, FODMAP tracking) is stored locally on your device by default. If you opt into cloud sync, this data is encrypted end-to-end and stored on secure servers.
We automatically collect certain technical information including device type, operating system version, app version, crash logs, and anonymized usage analytics to improve the Service.
We use your information to: provide and maintain the Service, personalize your experience (AI coaching, pattern detection), improve and develop new features, send important service notifications, and comply with legal obligations.
Your health data is processed locally on your device for pattern detection and AI coaching features. We do not sell your personal or health data to third parties under any circumstances.
Your health data is stored primarily on your device using encrypted local storage. If you enable cloud sync, data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption in transit and at rest.
We implement industry-standard security measures including SSL/TLS encryption, secure authentication, and regular security audits. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal health data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for research purposes only.
We may share information with: service providers who assist in operating the Service (under strict confidentiality agreements), law enforcement when required by law, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
You have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), export your data in a portable format, and opt out of non-essential data collection.

Symbiota is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we discover we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
